Liv’s birthday celebration!
We are celebrating our new Year 11 all weekend. I still can’t believe it.
Liv is officially middle aged. She is definitely not a teenager, but she has reached the point where she is too old for jumping castle or trampoline park birthdays. I asked her what she wanted to do to celebrate with her friends and she suggested a limo + dinner. Perfection. A friend of hers had a limo party a couple of summers ago and it was a big hit, so I thought this would be a lot of fun.
The party started at our house (the kids ate, played music, and ran around), and then the party bus up north picked us up for dinner. It was a 20-passenger party bus with neon lights and an amazing Bluetooth system, and there were 13 of us on the bus.
Chaperones:
The kids sang and danced (I brought LED flower crowns and sparkly bracelets, along with a basket full of candy and snacks) and we had a wonderful dinner in the North.
At North, we ordered a variety of items for a long table of hungry kiddos: bread, cheese boards, calamari, zucchini chips, pizzas, salads, and pasta. Liv’s birthday theme was mushroom (kids love everything mushroom), so we had a mushroom cake for dessert. 😉
The party bus took us back home for pickup (and the two girls spent the night). I made Liv’s favorite cinnamon rolls for breakfast, bacon, fruit and scrambled eggs. After picking up the kids, the girls and I got ready to watch Anne At Centennial Hall with my mom and nana. Anne It’s usually pretty for me, but it was so good. Daddy Warbucks was awesome (usually he cracks me up), and the kids were incredibly talented. Liv and P loved it too!
After the show, the whole family came over for dinner and more cake. 😉
Read, Watch, Listen:
This reel made me LOL. I am always so happy when other people talk to their animals the way I do.
What place do you call home?

We have a wedding in February and if you have any cute black dress recs (guests are requested to wear black), please send them my way! Finding something for it was harder than I thought. I think I’m looking for a one shoulder option, for this situation or something with lace.

A 30-minute cardio barre workout.
Lower Body Circuit and Tabata Workout.
SO pumped to try this weight blanket. I sleep with a heavy blanket over our duvet, but prefer something a little heavier. I haven’t found one that looks better as far as construction/materials go. Many of them were filled with plastic beads or made of synthetic materials. It looks like a perfect fit! It contains natural bamboo, and amethyst, jade, tourmaline, shungite and rose quartz for negative ions. They also have a promo code right now. Use this link and code THERACOMFORT20 for 20% off. I can’t wait for it to arrive and will definitely report back!
Happy Friday, friends! What are you looking forward to this weekend?
