Trump urges release of January 6 prisoners, House Select Committee hearing after release of Tucker Carlson bombshell videos

As former President Donald Trump called for the release of detainees and political prisoners from the riots at the Capitol starting January 6, 2021, new videos offer a counter-narrative to several elements of the so-called ‘riot’.

Trump paid tribute to Tucker Carlson after the Fox News host released a series of previously unseen videos that contradict several claims made by the media and Democrats since that fateful day.

Videos show Capitol Police Officer Brian Cicnik appearing well and physically able to defend himself despite claims he was killed by a mob, as well as evidence that the ‘Kwanan shaman’ was easily escorted around the complex by police, seemingly contradicting his assertion of behavior. Justifies a prison sentence of several years.

And there was much, much more.

Trump called the dramatic new evidence the ‘biggest scoop’ in American journalism.

“New surveillance footage of the events of January 6 sheds a completely different light on what actually happened,” he wrote on his Satya social media platform. “Let them go free now!”

Trump calls for release of prisoners on January 6

Trump praised House Speaker Kevin McCarthy for showing “great courage” in releasing 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 riots so Tucker Carlson could properly review and report. real Findings.

“An entirely new and entirely opposite picture is now indelibly painted,” he argues. “The non-select committee lied and should be prosecuted for their actions.”

In another post on Truth Social, the former president reiterated his call to be released that day for his relatively mundane actions.

“January 6 let the prisoners go,” he wrote in an all-caps screed. “He was convicted or awaiting trial based on a giant lie, a radical left con job.

J6 Pledge to pardon prisoners

If Donald Trump wins re-election in 2024, he has long argued that he would pardon many of the individuals charged and convicted for their actions during the January 6 riots.

Not for the actual thugs who wanted violence that day, but rather their presence led to prison sentences.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, who spoke with former president and first lady Melania Trump, said the couple was “just sick” of some of the accused Jan. 6 and the way they went after the Capitol riots.

Last December, Trump recorded a video message specifically targeting the J6 defendants.

“People have been treated unconstitutionally, in my opinion, and very unfairly, and we’re going to get to the bottom of it,” Trump said, speaking before a group called the Patriot Freedom Project.

“This is the weaponization of the Justice Department, and we will not allow that in this country.”

Squishy Republicans like Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) have strongly condemned Trump for siding with the Jan. 6 protesters and promising amnesty.

Would they oppose such a move now that we have definitive video proof that the prevailing narrative of the day was false?
