As Patty McMurray reported earlier – this afternoon, CPAC attendees voted for who they would choose as the next Republican presidential nominee if the election were held today.
President Donald Trump received 62% of the vote from CPAC attendees. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who did not attend the conservative caucus, received 20% of the vote. But it was a relatively unknown billionaire businessman from Michigan, Perry Johnson, who has never held political office, who stunned pundits when he finished third in the poll ahead of former S. Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence.
Here’s a close-up of the top vote-getters, which includes Perry Johnson with 5% of the vote and former S. Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in fourth place with just 3% of the vote. :
Johnson tweeted about his incredible third-place victory, where he was a “right-in” candidate who defeated a bunch of well-known Republican candidates, including former VP Mike Pence and current, popular Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia.
This is too much for FOX News. FOX News brass couldn’t be more honest with the American public after the CPAC poll. So they removed Perry Johnson from their graphic. That way they can add their RINO darling Nikki Haley at number three.
It was another rough weekend for FOX News. What will they report for the next two years after President Donald Trump is ousted? That leaves plenty of time for drag queen coverage.
