Impeach this bum.
Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) confronted Attorney General Merrick Garland over the desecration of the US justice system.
Merrick Garland, arguably the most dishonest AG in US history, refuses to investigate or prosecute egregious criminal activity on the left. But as Trump supporters hunted down and raided their homes at 6 a.m. for walking inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, they were waved away by police officers.
During a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Tuesday, Senator Britt questioned Garland about the fact that US marshals guarding the homes of Supreme Court justices were instructed not to “arrest protesters” at the homes. This was despite Garland previously claiming that marshals had a free hand when making arrests.
Senator Britt: You said, “The marshals have been advised, and they know, and the marshals on the ground, that they have full authority to arrest people under any federal statute, including that federal statute,” quote. That is a direct reference to Section 1507. You went on to say that the Attorney General would not decide whether to arrest him. Marshals on the scene make the decision whether to arrest.
The freshman senator continued:
Senator Britt: “After your appearance before the Judiciary Committee, we obtained copies of the slide deck used to train and prepare the marshals at the judges’ homes for their protective details. Those training materials show that the marshals made no arrests under section 1507 for the simple reason that they did so. They were actively discouraged from doing so. As you can see in my previous slide, the marshals were clearly told to avoid any criminal enforcement action involving protesters unless absolutely necessary.
It gets worse. DOJ told marshals not to engage in “protest-related enforcement.”
Senator Britt: The next slide directs marshals not to engage in protest-related enforcement actions beyond those strictly and immediately necessary and designed to ensure the physical security of justices. If you look at the next slide here, it discourages marshals from making any Section 1507 arrests by asserting that “there may be a First Amendment right to harass the families of judges.”
There must be sufficient evidence to initiate impeachment proceedings against Garland.
The Attorney General is deliberately putting the lives of Supreme Court Justices and their families in mortal danger. He ordered to stand down!
This man is not the Attorney General. He is a mob boss. He is a fraud.
And at the same time, they’re set to arrest another 1,000 Trump supporters for standing outside the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 during the Feds hearing. It boggles the mind.
Freshman Senator Katie Britt was outstanding.
