He made the call in Ellembel constituency in the Western Region as part of his three-day campaign in the region.
He said several voting processes are expected in Parliament, which will require the input of MPs who have voted for the approval of the administration’s new ministers.
“On Friday, something happened in Parliament that not all of us are happy about and I have seen some fake lists on social media indicating that those MPs voted against the NDC.
“They are alleged to have voted against the NDC and this is a fake list. So I urge all NDC supporters to ignore this,” Mahama said.
Earlier, a minority in Parliament said it would not approve ministers as per the directive of the party leadership but all nominees were approved after a secret ballot.
The NDC has taken the stand that it will not endorse the nominations citing the economic challenges facing the country.
After hours of voting, all ministerial nominees were approved after the Appointments Committee was unable to recommend approval of the nominees on consensus forcing the House to vote to decide the fate of the ministers.
KT Hammond received 154 votes in favor, 116 votes against his nomination for appointment and one each rejected the ballot and was absent.
OB Amoh got 149 ‘yes’ votes, 120 ‘no’ votes and three abstentions, while Dr. Stephen Amoh received 146 votes in favour, 123 ‘no’ votes and three abstentions.
The rest are Dr. Amin Adam, who received 152 votes in favor, 117 ‘no’ votes, one rejected vote, and two abstentions, while Asamoah Boateng received 147 votes in favor, and 122 votes against his appointment, leaving three abstentions, Dr. Brian Acheampang received 167 votes in favor, 98 against, four abstentions and three abstentions.
