House Republicans are putting offshore wind projects on hold until experts do assessments.
Whales and dolphins continue to beach on the Jersey shore, and there is no other explanation than the construction of a wind farm.
Democrats claim to care about the planet but ignore the fact that all these animals are being harmed.
The Washington Times reports:
House Republicans want to pause offshore wind projects
New Jersey Republican Party Rep. The push, led by Jeff Van Drew, coincides with concerns about a dozen humpback whales and right whales that have washed ashore along the East Coast this year.
“But [the Biden] The administration continues to ignore the potential adverse effects of offshore wind development, my colleagues and I do not,” Mr. Van Drew told Fox News Digital. “It is imperative to address a range of unanswered concerns, from maritime travel and safety to the environment and national security.”
His resolution was supported by fellow Republican representatives from New Jersey. Co-sponsored by Chris Smith, Andy Harris of Maryland, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania and Anthony D’Esposito of New York.
Beyond environmental concerns, they are concerned about the impact on the fishing and shipping industries. The resolution states that Congress believes that offshore wind development should be halted pending an investigation.
Eight dolphins have died recently.

Many whales also died.
How many dolphin/whale deaths will it take to stop this madness? https://t.co/hjqVSTKqQr

No hard evidence links the whale deaths off the coast of New York and New Jersey to offshore wind surveys, but activists are calling for a pause so the effects can be investigated. https://t.co/9c6kGMEIQ6

Isn’t this just something Democrats claim to care about?
