There is anger in East Palestine, Ohio, as residents demand answers 12 days after a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in the small town.
“What happens on those tracks is more valuable than the lives of the residents of our community,” said one local.
State and federal officials have assured residents that contaminated soil is being removed from the site, and that air and municipal water quality are now normal. However, the governor said residents living near the spill should drink bottled water as a precaution.
