It’s time again to play America’s favorite national pastime – what if Donald Trump does it?
President Biden on Wednesday referred to Maryland’s first black governor, Wes Moore, as a “guy.”
His comment came during opening remarks to IBEW union workers in Lanham, Maryland.
“You’ve got a new governor in Wes Moore, I tell you,” Biden said, drawing applause from the crowd. “He’s the real deal, and the guy still looks like he’s playing. He’s got some guns on him.
Moore played wide receiver for Johns Hopkins University.

To be clear, President Biden often uses the word “boy” when referring to people who are white in speeches.

Fox News pointed out that the president spoke highly of Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) last October, telling attendees that the lawmaker also has a divinity degree.
“A boy can preach,” he declared.
And while the phrase is typically mundane, in some contexts when directed at a black person, it can be seen as a racially derogatory term.
He did the same to Senior Counsel Cedric Richmond two years ago.
“I’m here with my senior adviser and a guy who knows Louisiana very well, man — and New Orleans and — Cedric Richmond,” he said at a press conference.

Can you imagine if Trump had said something like that? No purpose? Or any Republican for that matter.
Senator Cory Booker has, in the past, criticized President Biden for his use of the term.
In 2019, Cory Booker blasted Biden for using the word “boy”.

“As a black man in America, I know the deeply damaging and hurtful use of the word boy and how it has been used to dehumanize and degrade,” Biden said of the term to pro-segregation senators James O. Booker said after using Eastland and criticism. Herman Talmadge.

Biden’s History of Racily Charged Rhetoric
In a vacuum, President Biden’s comments about Wes Moore don’t seem malicious or all that controversial. He has a history of making statements that sink other politicians, otherwise the media constantly cites them as harmless gaffes.
Early in his Senate career, Biden worried that de-segregation would lead to his children growing up in a “racial jungle.”
President Barack Obama famously described him in patronizing terms, calling him “the first mainstream African-American who was clear and bright and clean and good-looking.”

President Biden also once bragged about accepting the award from George Wallace, saying that Delaware was on the South’s side in the Civil War, and that Delaware was recently promoted as a “slave state” in 2006.
Then he complained that the local 7-11 was full of people with Indian accents.
The media barely mentions him, but Joe Biden has a long history of racist comments.

And of course, if you don’t vote for them, you’re “not black.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently said that despite his many verbal missteps and controversial comments, President Biden is still “the best communicator we have in the White House.”
If that’s true, the White House has a very serious problem on their hands.
