In a dark turn of events, the progressive left seems to have found an ally in Satanists. Members of the Satanic Temple gathered at the Idaho State Capitol on Monday in response to a Republican-sponsored House bill aimed at banning sex-change procedures for minors.
Rebecca Brannon of TPUSA Frontlines posted a video of a “Satanic Gender Affirmation Ceremony” held in the Capitol Rotunda.

The Wikipedia page for the Temple of Satan — not to be confused with the Church of Satan — reads more like a socialist manifesto than a “religious” organization.
The Satanic Temple has publicly confronted hate groups, fought to abolish corporal punishment in public schools, petitioned for equal representation when religious establishments are placed on public property, provided religious immunity and legal protection against laws that unscientifically restrict women’s reproductive autonomy, exposed the harmful. Pseudo-scientific practitioners in mental health care have engaged in organized clubs and other advocacy consistent with our ideologies, along with other religious after-school clubs in schools besieged by proselytizing organizations.

Members gathered at the Capitol described themselves as “bringers of light to the community.” He described his mission as “being anti-injustice”.
“The autonomy of the body is sacrosanct,” declared one of the blue-haired members. After that the bell was rung.
“We fight against our oppression for this value, because it is a deeply held religious belief. Take a moment to observe and listen around you,” the Satanist continues, followed by another bell strike.
The Satanists were surrounded by protesters waving American flags and signs reading “Idaho is God’s Country” and “You’re not wrong.” The latter quotes Genesis 1:31 from the Bible.
Genesis 1:31, ESV: God saw all that he had made, including you, and he was satisfied. God doesn’t make mistakes, especially not when He makes you.

Idaho passes bill to ban sex reassignments for minors
Rep. House Bill 71, sponsored by Bruce Skaug, would ban “puberty blockers, cross-gender hormones and sex reassignment surgeries when administered to Idaho children struggling with gender dysphoria.” Skaugs argues that the legislation is necessary to “protect children” and prevent the permanent damage that puberty blockers and hormone therapy can cause.
The bill would criminalize treatments for minors, subjecting physicians to felony charges.
The Satanists’ efforts were in vain as the bill passed overwhelmingly in the Idaho House on Tuesday, or perhaps even solidified the vote. The vote followed party lines except for the Republican Party.
Republican supporters later said the bill did not adequately guarantee that affected children and their families would have access to counseling.
Idaho’s bill stands in stark contrast to positions held by organizations such as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Psychiatric Association, which support gender-affirming care for youth. Many are openly opposed Legislative efforts limit what they describe as gender-affirming care.
That hasn’t stopped Republican lawmakers from imposing bans on sex-change treatments for minors in more than two dozen states. Idaho is the latest to pass the bill.

A satanic temple working to destroy pro-life
Sex changes for minors are not the only issue on the Satanic Temple’s agenda. The organization recently launched an online abortion clinic after last year’s Supreme Court opinion overturned Roe v. Wade.
In a move that could only be fit for a Satanic temple, the organization opened “Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.” You may recall Alito, the justice who wrote the most controversial opinion.

If you’re willing to mock Christ, it’s not a stretch to scornfully mock a Supreme Court justice.
The Satanic Temple’s online clinic offers telehealth screenings and prescribes abortion drugs to patients who want to take part in their “religious abortion ritual.”
“Baphomet” is a symbol of the Satanic Church. You’ll notice in this picture that the bronze sculpture of Baphomet commissioned by the Satanic Temple has children standing next to a half-human, half-goat entity. Coincidence?

One thing is certain: the struggle between darkness and light is becoming increasingly clear and inevitable.
