Senator Fetterman’s office released a statement saying tests found no signs of a stroke or seizure. Fetterman is out of the hospital and will return to work in the Senate on Monday.
Communications Director Joe Calvello said in a statement to PoliticUSA, “A few minutes ago, Senator John Fetterman was released from George Washington University Hospital. CT, CTA, and MRI tests ruled out a stroke, and his EEG test results came back normal with no evidence of seizures. John spent some time with his family. Looking forward to spending time and returning to the Senate on Monday.

As many Americans know, recovery from a major health episode such as a stroke is often not linear. It’s been a busy week for Senate Democrats with President Biden’s State of the Union and his retreat.
Some in the conservative media expressed joy or seemed to rejoice at Fetterman’s hospitalization, but their reaction was an indictment of a lack of empathy that is largely missing from the Trump-infused right.
The bottom line is that Senator Fetterman is right, and when the Senate reconvenes Monday, he’ll be back at work, giving his Keystone State constituents a blue-collar voice on issues more important.
