It was recently reported that New York City is offering taxpayer-funded bus tickets to some illegal immigrants to Canada. Some of them took the deal because they were frustrated by the level of crime in New York.
Well, they shouldn’t tell these people what Canada looks like in winter because some of them took one look and decided to come back.
This situation is reaching an amazing level of absurdity.

However, just days after reports surfaced that some travelers were fleeing New York due to ‘drugs’ and homelessness, many are having second thoughts – with some rejecting the offer altogether because the country has ‘enough snow.’
Speaking to CBC, Ilje Thielmann, director of a New York nonprofit that has already helped transport migrants from New York to Montreal, tried to explain the phenomenon, saying many are hoping for better access to jobs and health care, while others are simply turned off by the cold conditions.
‘They think all these jobs are over there,’ Thielman, 56, told the Canadian broadcaster about the realities currently being presented to foreigners, many of whom have been in the US for the better part of a year.
Rather than face the rest of Canada’s winter — set to last more than another month — migrants, already fed up with the conditions, are choosing to return to New York City, he said.
‘They think they’ll be able to get shelter there easily, and that’s not the case.’

When leaders like Pierre Trudeau and Joe Biden virtue-signal about sanctuary cities and states welcoming illegal immigrants, immigrants are asking. They expect to join the United States and receive all the taxpayer-funded benefits available to make their lives comfortable. There are expectations. Now, the cold weather is also causing complaints. You can’t do this stuff.
A single male immigrant would probably prefer to stay in a Manhattan hotel room where taxpayers are charged up to $450 a night instead of a large immigrant shelter. Who wouldn’t? It’s a very annoying sense of entitlement.
How do these people not know that Canada is cold in the winter? Haven’t they seen a map of North America?
