“Biden took out a six-figure home equity variable rate loan from M&T Bank on Dec. 5, 2022, Sussex County filings show. Biden and his wife, first lady Jill Biden, bought the residence for $2.74 million in 2017, according to county records. Fox News reported. .
KJP held a press conference on Air Force One on Wednesday as Biden traveled to Dane County, Wisconsin.
A reporter asked Karin Jean-Pierre about a home equity loan.
“The president took out a $250,000 loan on his house in Rehoboth late last year. Can you tell me what it was for?” a journalist asked KJP.
“Yes, I saw reports about it. I will refer you to the White House counsel’s office,” Jean-Pierre said.
