He appealed to his constituents and supporters of the DNC to focus their attention and energy on winning the 2024 elections to regain power from the New Patriotic Party.
“We are here for the interest of our party, the NDC. We have to move forward as a party and channel all our energies towards the 2024 elections.
“I thank all our Chiefs, Queen Mothers Imams and supporters for your prayers and solidarity. I pray for Allah’s guidance in all our affairs. Long live NDC, long live Ghana” said the former Minority Chief Whip.
Last month, the NDC reshuffled its leadership in Parliament and this sparked controversy and anger among the party’s rank and file.
In a letter to the Speaker, the party has replaced Tamale-South Castle MP Haruna Idrisu. Ato Forson, Ajumako Enyon is MP for Ecumen. James Klutse Awezi, Member of Parliament for Ketu-North, was replaced by his deputy, Emmanuel Armah.fruit coffee, Ellembele Constituency Member of Parliament, Agbodza who is governed by Kwame, Adaklu Constituency Member of Parliament Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka has been appointed as Chief Whip.
