The ruler of Gonzala, Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boresa I passed away after a reign of 12 years.
Graphic Online gathered that the 90-year-old chief died in the early hours of Saturday, February 4, 2023 at his palace in Damongo, Savannah region.
As per tradition and tradition, the family has prepared to officially announce the death.
Yagabonvura had been ill for a few days.
Lepowura, Alhaji MND Zawula’s passing in the United States comes a fortnight after the Overlord’s passing.
The late chief was named Yagbonwura in March, 2010.
Before his guise as Yagbonwura, he was the Paramount Chief of the Kusawgu Traditional Territory of Gonja under the skin name of Kusawguwura Suleimana Jakpa.
He is the son of Yagbonwura Mahama of Kusavgu and Yapewura Bakari, son of Mma Nyembali Chiraba.
