A 23-year-old woman from Jackson County, Michigan died suddenly of unknown causes.
“DINVERNO, Sophia Maureen of Grass Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 23,” her obituary said.
DiVerno’s cause of death is still under investigation.
Sophia DiVerno was an avid athlete and dancer who had a deep love for horseback riding. As a result of her passion, she became famous in the equestrian community in Michigan and online.

She is known for her Star Stable themed gaming videos on YouTube, where she goes by the name Violet Flowergarden. Currently, they have 178,000 subscribers.

Born in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, DinVerno had an early interest in the performing arts, beginning dance lessons at age 4, according to her obituary.
“Sophia was a joy to watch perform in annual recitals and competitions as a member of the Jackson Dance Company,” her obituary states.
DinVerno attended both Lumen Christi Catholic School and Jackson Preparatory and Early College during his high school years, according to his obituary. As a sophomore at Lumen Christi, she was a varsity runner for the girls’ cross country team. He played for the American Youth Soccer Organization in Grass Lake and participated in several community 5K runs with his family.
DinVerno also had a special love for horses and became an accomplished young horsewoman, her obituary states. Along with her beloved horse Lola – AKA “Better Than Boys” – she competed in numerous equestrian competitions throughout Michigan.
This passion for horses extended to the virtual realm as well.
News of Dinverno’s death prompted an outpouring of grief and support from the Star Stable community.
On January 26 the Wild Hearts gang – a group of Star Stable players – organized a virtual “memorial ride” dedicated to Dinverno and drew dozens of players to the virtual world to pay their respects. The Meadow Riders Sisterhood group posted a video of the digital gathering to YouTube.
