President Trump: Peace “can be negotiated in 24 hours”
Speaking to RSBN’s Brian Glenn, President Donald Trump said the United States is paying “10 times what Europe is paying” for the war in Ukraine, bringing the US cost to $107 billion. “I feel terrible for the people of Ukraine, I feel terrible for the people of Russia,” Trump said. “This needs to be addressed.”
Trump: First of all, it should never have started. If I were president it would never have started. There was no way this war would start.
Frankly, I don’t think Putin wanted to do that. I think he was compelled by the statements that Biden was making.
It’s a very sad thing to see, because no matter what happens now, it can never be as long as no one dies and no cities are destroyed.

You look at some of these cities, they are completely in ashes. A city they were flying through, not a single building was still standing.
So this should never happen. But it did.
It can be negotiated within 24 hours.
It really needs to be done by the office of the president. You have to get them both in a room and there are things you can say to each of them – which I won’t reveal now – that will guarantee that this battle ends immediately.
You have to do it. Because what is happening is terrible.
And more people are being killed than they are talking about.
When they demolish those big apartment (buildings), when they raze the cities, then they say ‘two dead’, that’s not right. I think the numbers are higher. It will be revealed in the coming days.
But we have to do something about it. That war must stop. And it must stop now. And it’s easy to do.
…
I believe we are sending ten times what Europe sends. I believe we are at $107 billion, maybe more. And Europe is only a small part of it. Obviously, Europe affects us more. They are close.
Germany has always found it very difficult to engage them. It is not fair to the United States.
I feel terrible for the people of Ukraine, I feel terrible for the people of Russia. Everyone is suffering.
It has to be solved.
