Two more suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the violent disturbances that occurred at the National Youth and Women Congress of the NDC on December 10, 2022 in Cape Coast, Central Region.

The suspects, Abdul-Fataw Adams and Haj Dawda Hassan, were arrested in Wenchi, Bono Region and Tshegu, Tamale, Northern Region respectively.

Suspect Haj Abdul-Fataw is currently on bail, while suspect Dawda Hasan is in police custody and will be produced before a court to face justice.

This brings to six (6) the number of people arrested so far in connection with the riots. Abdul Halid Shaibu alias Oluwu, Ibrahim Razak, Idrisu Abbas alias Django, Dawda Mohammed Nazir, Dawda Hassan and Haj Abdul-Fataw Adams are six.

The faces of the suspects are shown because they have been declared wanted with their pictures already displayed in our quest to get the public’s help in arresting them.

An intelligence operation is still on to nab the remaining 10 suspects.
