“We are seeing reports of a balloon heading to Latin America. We now judge that this is another Chinese surveillance balloon,” said Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said in a statement to CNN.

It is unclear where in Latin America the balloon was found.
The Pentagon says it does not believe a spy balloon over Latin America will make its way to the United States.
