On Thursday evening, Swalwell satirist Carpe Donctum retweeted the tweet, a parody of Swalwell’s speech, a doctored version complete with farting sounds and an alternate image featuring a caricatured Swalwell tweet made by Carpe Donctum that “feel cute, go away on TV, threaten to nuke someone, or Then hit the Chinese spy, idk. #YOLO”

Carpe Donctum tweeted the video with a tongue-in-cheek message praising Swalwell for his speech, tagging Swalwell, “I want to thank you @RepSwalwell @ericswalwell for standing up and speaking the truth! The person who tweeted that there should be an inquiry!!”
