In a campaign speech in South Carolina, where Donald Trump vowed to send illegal immigrants “straight home” if elected, reports suggest that nearly 300,000 ‘Gotaways’ have fled the country after crossing the border since October.
Trump, who is seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2024, spoke of the border crisis that has worsened exponentially during the Biden administration.
He echoed earlier statements that other countries are not sending their best when it comes to the migrant surge and said the situation must be “straightened out quickly”.
“They’re killers, they’re killers, they’re sending rapists, and they’re sending, frankly, terrorists or terrorists coming on their own, and frankly, we’re not going to allow that to happen,” Trump said.
“So those who cross the border illegally will be sent home directly,” he said. “Those bad ones, especially, and they go fast.”

The financial year started in October.
Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins reported on the incredible numbers, and the outlet noted the ‘Gotaways’ are now on pace for “unprecedented numbers”.
“Border officials are concerned because they don’t know who these people are, where they’re from or where they’re trying to get into the interior of the US,” Fox said.
Only these should be observed know ‘Gotaways’ – Illegal immigrants identified through other surveillance methods but not processed by CBP.

The numbers are staggering
Agents suggest that the total number of ‘Gotaways’ has risen to about 1.2 million under President Biden. And the numbers keep getting worse.
There were 389,155 ‘gotaways’ at the border in FY2021. In fiscal year 2022, there were about 600,000 such cases.
That looks to be just shy of 1.2 million more in 2023, roughly double the previous year and more than the previous two years.
Including border encounters, there were more than 1 million illegal border crossings within 4 months. And Biden’s open border policies are to blame.
Terrorist watch list arrests on the southern border are on the rise under President Biden.

Former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director Tom Homan echoed Trump’s comments that these ‘Gotaways’ are not good people.
“There’s a reason” illegal immigrants aren’t fooling themselves as they claim. “Because they don’t want to be fingerprinted.”
“These are gang members. These are sexual predators. They are going to be criminals. These are people transporting fentanyl,” Homan claimed.
“Not everyone,” he added. “But there’s a reason they didn’t commit themselves to taking advantage of the Biden administration’s contribution program.”

The Washington Times reported last week that the Biden administration was releasing convicted illegal immigrants and preventing border agents from making further arrests.
“ICE released 515 immigrants with criminal convictions and 641 facing active criminal charges. [in December],” he revealed. “Officials said the releases are related to the Title 42 Epidemic Border Policy.”
“One ICE official said his area has been instructed not to make any further arrests.”
Is Biden “proud” of the devastating border crisis he created?
He named Harris his “border czar” and the 1.2 million illegal immigrants who have fled to the US since he took office are “Gotaways.”

It’s hard not to think that this entire border crisis is by design.
Representative Jim Jordan announced the February 1st date First Judicial Committee Hearing to investigate Biden border disaster. Accountability may finally be on the way.
