Trump Sues Leftist Author Bob Woodward For $49 Million Over Release Of Interview Recordings

President Trump on Monday sued Bob Woodward for $49 million over the release of recordings of interviews he gave in 2019 and 2020.

Toxic RINO Lindsey Graham reportedly brokered a meeting with Trump and Bob Woodward.

Bob Woodward, leftist author and Washington Post editor, released “The Trump Tapes” audiobook with more than 8 hours of interviews with President Trump.

Woodward is a deep state hack and has been an FBI asset since the 1970s.

“I will never agree to release the tapes to the public,” Trump said.

    Bloomberg reports:

Former President Donald Trump is suing journalist Bob Woodward for releasing recordings of interviews he gave journalists in 2019 and 2020, saying he never agreed to share those tapes with the public.

In the lawsuit filed Monday against Woodward, Simon & Schuster Inc., and the publisher’s parent company Paramount Global, Trump said Woodward agreed to record their conversations “for the sole purpose of a book,” but did not extend it. To package those recordings as an audiobook.

“This case focuses on Mr. Woodward’s systematic assault, manipulation and exploitation of President Trump’s audio,” Trump’s lawyers wrote.

The complaint alleges infringement of Trump’s copyright interests and accuses Woodward and the publisher of unfairly profiting from the tapes. Trump is seeking only $50 million in damages, assuming his lawyers sell two million copies of the Woodward audiobook for the $24.99 download price.

Trump participated in 19 interviews with Woodward in person or by phone between December 2019 and August 2020, as well as in 2016 when he was still a candidate, according to the complaint. Woodward’s book, Rage, was published a month after the last interview. In October 2022, Simon & Schuster released an audiobook of the recordings, The Trump Tapes.

Remember, CNN went ballistic last October because Trump gave Bob Woodward ‘classified information’ – of course Woodward was never able to verify the classified information.

“I’ve built a weapons system that no one in this country has ever had before,” Trump said. “We have stuff you haven’t seen or heard of.”

Trump continued, “We have things that Putin and Xi have never heard of. It’s good to get along with Russia, it’s not bad, right? Especially since they have 1,332 nuclear fucking warheads.

“It’s funny, the relationships I have, they’re tough and mean, I get along better with them. You know? Explain it to me one day, okay. But maybe that’s not a bad thing.”

CNN fumed over Trump’s statement to Woodward, who later admitted the reporter could not verify the information.

“So to be clear, Woodward was never able to verify that this system existed,” CNN’s Jamie Gangle said.
