Inaki Williams missed his first La Liga game for Athletic Bilbao on Sunday since April 2016 as he was ruled out with an injury.
The 28-year-old made 251 consecutive league appearances for the Spanish side and became a key player in their forward line.
He has scored 78 goals since breaking into the first team in 2014 after an impressive spell for the club’s B side, Bilbao Athletic.
Williams was not included in Bilbao’s matchday squad to face Celta Vigo on Sunday after sustaining an injury in the last match against Valencia in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.
The last time Williams missed a La Liga game, Leicester were Premier League champions, Arsene Wenger was Arsenal’s manager and England had yet to be knocked out of the Euros by Iceland.
