    A man who was stealing a generator was arrested by the court

    Interestingly, nothing else Court Registrar, Karim Tolulop caught the suspect on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 when he stormed into the office where the generator was kept.

    According to pulse.ng, the suspect gained access to where the generator was kept by unlocking the building.

    They reportedly took advantage of the public holiday declared by the state government for collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to commit the crime.

    An officer of the Local Government Service Commission, Mercy Ajewole, disclosed that the suspect jumped over the wall to the secretariat before attempting to steal the generator.

    “Two screwdrivers and a bag were found on him.” she said.

    Olanian is expected to be arraigned to answer for the crime.

    According to pulse.ng, the perpetrator defiled the students between the ages of six and 11 between November 2018 and February 2019 at Balogun Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi in the Ikoyi region.

    The Lagos State Government prosecuted him on eight counts of sexual assault following his arrest.

    Justice Soladoi said the prosecution team had proved beyond reasonable doubt that Farooq was guilty of all eight counts of penetrative sexual assault. He said the stability and behavior of all the survivors in their testimonies showed that the perpetrator had indeed abused them.
