#1 Do not eat fruit as dessert after a heavy solid meal. Fruits only require an hour in the stomach for digestion, and eating fruit after a solid meal pushes undigested food (cereals, grains, vegetables, meat) into the small intestine and causes symptoms such as indigestion and bloating, gas and flatulence.
Make sure to keep a gap of 2 hours after a solid meal before eating fruits. And if you have fruits before, make sure to keep 1 hour gap after fruits before eating solid meal.
So if you have fruit at 8 o’clock, you can have your solid meal or breakfast at 9 o’clock. If you have a solid meal before, eat fruit 2 hours after breakfast.
#2 Do not eat fruits for lunch. Fruits contain active acids and microbial enzymes, fumaric acid, tartaric acid, oxalic acid, critical acid, malic acid that have a waking effect on the body and disrupt the production of melatonin, which is necessary for sleep. In fact an apple has the same powerful effect on the body and mind as a cup of coffee does. Do not eat fruits after sunset. A second dose of fruit is best eaten as an evening snack around 4pm to avoid junking.
#3 Do not mix fruit groups. There are 3 types of fruits
– Astringent fruits: apples, cherries, pears
– Sweet fruits: papaya mango banana peach avocado
– Sour fruits: oranges lemons tangerines grapefruits
Watermelons should not be mixed with any other fruit group in particular. Eat a bunch of fruit at a time
