Sharing the best mocktails to enjoy this spring!
Hello friends! How’s the week going so far? I hope you have a lovely morning. I have a couple Zoom calls today and working on our May Fit team programming. Join us here!
Since the weather is warming up and spring/summer BBQs and pool parties are on the horizon, I wanted to share some mochatail recipes with you today. Whether you’re anticipating, or really cutting back on yourself, it’s a fun way to change up the rotation. Although I haven’t given up alcohol completely, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my energy levels, productivity, mood, and skin since I cut back to 1-2 max drinks per week. You can read more about my journey here!
Mokail is a flavorful and enjoyable drink, minus the alcohol. I love that the mocktails come in beautiful colors with fresh ingredients and you can easily change the flavor profiles depending on what you have on hand. You can use seasonal fruits to flavor your mocktails and I’m sharing a roundup of some of my favorites! All of these are very easy to put together and very tasty.
10 Best Spring Mocktails
A roundup of my favorite fun, easy and healthy mocktails for spring
Mojito mocktail
It’s a delicious spring cocktail with fresh flavors of lime and mint. You’ll never know the alcohol is missing, and it’s less sugary than a traditional mojito.
ingredients
1 lime, attack
2 tablespoons fresh mint
Club soda
Liquid monk fruit, to taste (my favorite now foods)
Instructions
Add lime and mint to a glass and stir. Top with club soda and stir in monk fruit to taste. Boom! So fresh and easy.
Lavender lemonade
I love lavender and can’t wait to try this. It’s perfect to serve with any spring dinner parties. Get the full recipe here.
Pineapple Coconut Mocarita
This tropical drink is perfect poolside. We will definitely enjoy this in the summer. Here is the recipe.
Watermelon Spritz
The perfect recipe for surviving watermelon season.
ingredients
1 seeded watermelon, cut into wedges
Store-bought lime
Club soda
Instructions
Blend the watermelon in a high speed blender. Strain. Allow to chill in the fridge overnight.
Mix with 1 cup limeade and pour into glasses, top with club soda and lemon wedges.
Adrenal cocktail
Bonus: It has a lovely nutrient profile that nourishes and energizes, especially for my friends with high-stress lives.
Blackberry Cucumber Cocktail
Skip the gin and use club soda or sparkling water instead. I promise it will be satisfying.
Orange Creamsicle Mocktail
ingredients
3 ounces orange juice
A few drops of monk fruit (optional)
Vanilla soda
Orange slices for garnish
Instructions
In a wine glass, add orange juice and top with vanilla soda. Stir in monk fruit, if desired, and top with a spoonful of coconut whip and an orange slice.
Virgin Banana Daiquiris
These are giving me tropical vacation vibes. Get the recipe here.
Muddy without alcohol
Everyone in the family can enjoy this chocolatey treat. We spoil the slushies but I usually hate the sugar crash, so I eat this for dessert after a macro-balanced meal.
A classic dining out combo
This is my favorite mocktail to order when we’re out: club soda, cranberry splash and lime. Not a sugar bomb, no alcohol, and the taste is nice and refreshing.
So, tell me, friends: what’s your summer drink? I’d love to hear your favorites!
